University of Oxford and Moderna to trial cancer prevention vaccine for Lynch syndrome patients
Researchers have developed an mRNA vaccine designed to train the immune system to eliminate pre-cancerous cells in people with Lynch syndrome. A clinical trial launching this summer will assess the safety and efficacy of the jab, offering a potential new way to prevent cancers in those at high genetic risk.
