The Nautical Archaeology Society has been awarded nearly £200,000 to continue its work documenting shipwrecks and artefacts along the Sandwich Bay coastline. This funding will support a three-year project to protect local maritime heritage, including the remains of a rare Second World War B-17 bomber.
