A wind farm in South Lanarkshire is set to power 45,000 homes with the installation of six record-breaking turbines. The 33.4MW development at Mill Rig Wind Farm is due to be fully operational by the end of the summer. The turbines will generate enough electricity to cut carbon emissions by around 27,000 tonnes each year.
