The Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool is set to open a new £8.72 million rollercoaster, Aviktas, this May. The record-breaking ride will be the tallest of its kind and is expected to dramatically change the town's skyline. The rollercoaster will stand at 88 feet tall with a peak height of 138 feet.
