A 73-acre quarry site in West Lancashire is to be transformed into a habitat bank, featuring meadows and woodlands, under a 30-year stewardship deal. The site, formerly used for brickshale, will promote biodiversity and allow developers to invest in credits. The project aims to create a range of habitats, including meadows, woodlands, and wetlands.
