The historic Sweeps Festival in Kent saw its highest visitor numbers in a decade, with 82,000 people gathering to enjoy folk music and Morris dancing. Local businesses reported a fantastic atmosphere as the community celebrated the 300-year-old tradition in its most successful year since before the pandemic.
