New research shows 30-minute walks in nature can boost mood by nearly 50 per cent

A study by neuroscientist Dr Jack Lewis has found that a short walk outdoors significantly reduces stress and increases brain signals associated with positive emotions. To celebrate these findings, a series of community 'Joy Walks' are being launched across the country to help people discover the mental health benefits of hiking.
